Did you know that a personal digital assistant (PDA) is almost like holding a feature-rich laptop in the palm of your hand?

Are you aware that with proper training a blind computer user can quickly learn to use the many features of this powerful, totally accessible device?

To hear for yourself, plan now to attend the next TekTalk Internet online training event when Amy Ruell, an extremely knowledgeable computer user, will demonstrate from a blind user's perspective many features of the Icon and/or Braille Plus, a relative new entry into the PDA market for blind and visually impaired people.

You will learn how to access numerous kinds of applications and content suitable for work and entertainment through a user-friendly, easy-to-use interface including Bookshare titles, digital talking books from NLS, podcasts, and email. She will also discuss the device's limitations and Suggested improvements.

Following the live demonstration, the virtual audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Blog is moving!

Hi,
The blog "Icon and Braille++ training is moving to an other server.
this will take efect on November first.
This disission is official.
If there is anyone who wants to take the current blog on google over, I will be happy to transfer ownership to them.
Otherwise, this blog will move.
I also have a group that is moving monday to yahoo groups.
